Psychiatric Rehabilitation services team has developed a ‘Handbook of Psychiatric rehabilitation services’ edited by Dr BP Nirmala. The handbook is priced at Rupees 200 and can be purchased from NIMHANS publication.
Other books published include “Activities of Daily Living’, ‘Nuts and Bolts of Starting and running psychiatric rehabilitation services’, and ‘Quality of Life in chronic mental illness’, all of which can be purchased from the publication section in NIMHANS.
Psychiatric Rehabilitation services Team has developed patient education material on ‘FAQ’s in Psychiatric Rehabilitation’ and ‘Welfare benefits for persons with Psychiatric Disability’. The brochures are available in English, Kannada and Hindi.
Advertisements for Recovery oriented services and Medication pouches have been prepared with help of Department of Mental Health education.
Caregivers Video on ‘Road to Recovery’ was produced with help of Department of Mental Health Education. The Video was conceptualized and directed by Dr Shekhar Seshadri (Professor, Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, NIMHANS).
