Getting Involved
Getting Involved: Finding Solutions Together
For researchers, academicians and policy analysts, the centre offers excellent opportunities to address emerging health problems. The CPH provides expertise to plan and conduct large scale epidemiological studies, undertake operational research (feasibility of public health programs, evaluate health interventions, etc.), establish health surveillance, disease registries, monitor community based interventions, undertake systematic reviews and meta analysis. The CPH supports policy analysis, guides and advises on program planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation at regional, national and international levels. The centre would support development of monitoring and evaluation process for mental, neurological and substance use (MNS) disorders non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and injuries. CPH also works with organizations to develop human resource and capacity strengthening initiatives.
Public health development is a collective process. The path to progress is not easy and is full of challenges. Partnerships and collaboration is the key for advancing public health. To translate the vision of the centre into a reality during the coming years, we will work with communities, governments, national and international organizations, centers of excellence, professionals, health activists, NGOs, civil society, industry counterparts and all other like-minded partners to further a public health approach for prevention, care and rehabilitation in the area of MNS disorders, injuries and NCDs.
You too can be a part of this process and join us in this collective endeavour.
