Department heavily focusses on academic activities. Every Monday afternoon once the OPD is finished, academic program is conducted with didactic lectures from the faculty, subject seminar and journal club from the PDFs, Sr. residents, and from psychiatric social workers posted in the department participating.

Post-Doctoral Fellowship-PDF (Neurological Rehabilitation)
The Department of Neurological Rehabilitation started 1-year Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Neurological Rehabilitation since 2012-13. Every year two students are selected by an online entrance examination.
The candidates who have completed MD/DNB (Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation) are eligible to apply for this course. All the PDFs completed this course so far have been working in the capacity of Neuro-physiatrists in different parts of the country, either in public or private sector, providing clinical services, involved in human resource development and teaching.
