The schedule for various academic programmes is as below:
Golgi-Cajal Talks(popularly known as GC Talk): Every Tuesdays (8:00-9:00 am, Seminar Hall, Neurobiology Research Centre)

Golgi-Cajal Talks, named after first Nobel Laureates in Neurosciences, was started almost 2 years ago, to teach the students about clinical neuroanatomy and neurophysiology. Over the past years, due to its immense success among the students of the Department as well as from other Departments, various new topics have been included in the presentations, which cover a broad range of clinical and basic neurosciences.
Journal Club: Every 1st and 3rd Saturdays (8:00-9:00 am, Seminar Hall, Neurobiology Research Centre)
Chairperson: Dr. Vani Santosh
Research residents are strongly encouraged to present high quality scientific papers for journal clubs, mainly focusing on Clinical Neuroscience subjects. Some students prefer to present on the innovative research studies published in journals like Nature, Science, Nature Neuroscience, Nature Genetics, The Lancet etc., while some students focus on statistics and methodology parts of the paper, overall making a diverse way of presentations in this academic session.
Subject seminars: Every 1st and 3rd Fridays (8:00-9:00 am, Seminar Hall, Neurobiology Research Centre)

In the subject seminars, the research residents are given full freedom to present a seminar on a topic of their choice. Inter-disciplinary seminar talks are particularly famous among research residents.
