Scientific research is also one of the important components of department work culture, with special emphasis on neuroinfections, neuroimmunology and neuromuscular disorders and Hospital associated infections along supported by National funding agencies like ICMR, DBT,DST etc . Through Interdepartmental and inter Institutional collaborations students are being nurtured,guided and mentored be it the dissertation works of DM Neurology, McH Neurosurgery, Mphil neuroscience,Mphil neurophysiology in addition to the PhD candidates from our department.This has resulted in publications in National and International peer reviewed journals
