- Perform cutting edge research in Genetic aspects of nervous system disorders.
- Impart training on genetic research methodologies and molecular genetic platforms.
- Provide Genetic diagnostic testing and genetic counselling.
Objectives
- Objective 1: To understand the molecular genetic basis of human brain and nervous system tumors, neurological and psychiatric disorders. To explore the molecular biological basis of growth factors and their roles during wound healing process using animal model.
- Objective 2: To teach genetics and impart training on molecular genetic research methodologies for man power development.
- Objective 3: To provide advanceddiagnostic service and genetic counselling to the patients and their families.
