HINDI CELL

Hindi Cell, functioning under the Department of Publication, undertakes various activities with a view to ensure compliance with the Official Language Implementation policies and Constitutional provisions (Official Languages Act, 1963 and the Official Languages Rule, 1976), and to promote progressive use of Hindi for the official purposes.

Consent forms for research and various academic activities of the institute are translated into Hindi and certified by the Hindi Cell, on a regular basis.

Hindi courses/classes (Probodh, Praveen and Pragya), under the Hindi Teaching Scheme, are conducted regularly to impart training of Hindi to the employees of the Institute who do not possess the working knowledge of Hindi.

Hindi Typing and Hindi Stenography training is also provided under the scheme so that the employees can improve efficiency of doing their work in Official Language.
