Academics and Research in Psychiatry
The Geriatric team has been functioning as an independent unit since 2017 and has various academic courses and fellowships. There are two DM (Geriatric Psychiatry), one PDF (Geriatric Psychiatry), one Fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry (Post MBBS) and one Fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatric social work candidates who join each year. Currently there are four DM, one PDF resident and one Geriatric Psychiatry fellow in the team. The entire team is actively involved in research and training.
