Physiotherapy Services

Physiotherapy centre runs outpatient and inpatient services. The outpatient service has adult and paediatric OPD for both new and follow-up cases. Under in-patient services therapist visits twice a day for chest physiotherapy sessions.  Physiotherapists offer services to special clinics like the neuromuscular clinic, Geriatric clinic etc. The centre has advanced facilities such as Surface EMG Biofeedback, Balance and Gait lab etc.

Neuromuscular disorders special clinic: The physiotherapists are associated with the Department of Neurology on every 4th Saturday of the month. A team of consultants along with resident doctors and other paramedical staff takes care of the rehabilitation needs of the patients with neuromuscular disorders. Annually around 400 patients are benefitted from these services.

ACADEMICS

Students from various colleges across India and abroad undergo clinical training with the guidance of chief physiotherapist and senior staff in various clinical areas consisting acute care, OPD, Rehabilitation & special clinics. Lecturers and seminar conducted for interns, post graduate physiotherapy students and students of nursing college of NIMHANS.
