Medical Equipment Maintenance
In additon to preventive maintenance, calibration and installation of multiple equipments, the Bio Medical Engineering Department performs preventive and corrective maintenance and provides special request service on clinical equipments owned, and used within the hospital in compliance with regulatory agencies. We provide pre-purchase evaluations of new technology and equipment and assist clinical departments with service contract analysis, negotiations and management. We also undertake coordination of clinical equipment installations which may include planning, scheduling, and oversight as well as conducting of device incident investigations. Besides, we educate students and health care professionals in necessary areas in this regard.
