The Biomedical Engineering section of NIMHANS is responsible for testing, repairing, and maintaining in proper and safe operating condition, Institute’s diagnostic and therapeutic equipments.

We provide technology management and equipment planning support, and medical equipment maintenance of institute’s facilities. Our efforts are directed to biomedical and radiographic devices and systems used in a variety of patient care and care-support services. We are focused on improving patient care through maximizing operational availability of technology, minimizing risk to patients, visitors, and care providers.
