Publication Services

The Publications Section is a crucial part of the Institute’s communication and documentation infrastructure. It provides specialized publishing services, including generating Institute activity reports, and coordinating the translation and printing of various books and IEC materials.

One of the section's key responsibilities is overseeing the publishing of NIMHANS Annual Report. This comprehensive process, guided by the Annual Report Committee, includes everything from conceptualization to final printing. The Annual Report is formally presented in both Houses of Parliament, complying with all regulatory standards. The section also produces periodic activity reports detailing the Institute’s progress and achievements.

In addition to these responsibilities, the department handles the sale of NIMHANS publications. This includes coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure that publications are accessible and effectively distributed.
