Library Services

Reference Librarian will assist the user in locating books, journals and other materials. The queries that cannot be answered while you wait, please enter your queries in tracing register available on the Reference Desk.

The library has informal cooperative agreement with many other libraries in and outside Bangalore. Users are requested to consult the reference Librarian.

• There are two types of photocopying facilities.
• 1. Institute facility, for faculty and administration.
• 2. Private agency, where rate is fixed on the basis of size of paper. Private agency works on all the working hours (including holidays).

• Bibliographical literatures services are made available to users (both internal and external) onpayment.The databases available are:
• 1. ProQuest
• 2. EBSCO
• 3. Web of Science
• 4. Scopus
• 5. PubMed
• (Note: Please consult the officer in charge of computer - communication for any on - site guidance).

Internet services will be restricted to regular Members of the Library and Information Centre. Other members permitted by the Director or the NIMHANS faculty will be allowed to use the Internet facilities on request. Please approach the in - charge for cost and time slot for use of INTERNET.

Plagiarism checking service for manuscripts such as theses, dissertations, journal articles and conference papers are available to NIMHANS users using the Turnitin plagiarism check software.

SPSS software for statistical analysis is available to NIMHANS users through the Institute VDI platform. Please approach the in - charge for SOP and time slot for use of SPSS.

Online Grammarly software is available for NIMHANS users. Please approach the Library in - charge for username and password to access grammarly software.

All subscribed e - resources are enabled for access on NIMHANS IPs. Please approach the Library in - charge for availing remotlog off campus access of the Library e - resources.

Uploading of contents to NIMHANS website using CMS - Wordpress on a regular basis.

Atlas.ti-Quality analysis software is available for NIMHANS users. Please approach the Library in - charge for username and password to access grammarly software.
