Ayushman Bharat (PMJAY and Arogya Karnataka): Aligned with the transformative vision of the Ayushman Bharat scheme, NIMHANS provides comprehensive healthcare coverage for individuals and families in need. This scheme offers financial protection for secondary and tertiary care hospitalization, facilitating access to specialized mental health services without financial constraints.

Patient Assistance Schemes: Patient Assistance Schemes, funded through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, offer financial assistance for essential treatments and interventions, ensuring that financial hardship does not hinder access to care. Exemption of Hospital Levy Charges for BPL and Indigent Patients: In recognition of the challenges faced by marginalized communities, NIMHANS exempts Below Poverty Line (BPL) and indigent patients from hospital levy charges. This initiative aims to ensure equitable access to mental healthcare services, irrespective of patient's economic circumstances.

Free Drug Counter: The Free Drug Counter initiative provides essential medications to over 600 individuals daily, free of cost. By removing financial barriers to treatment, NIMHANS helps patients to prioritize their health and well-being without financial strain.
