Endowments

Endowments serve as dependable, perpetual sources of support for NIMHANS and its mission of academic pursuits and patient care.

Partnerships with corporates, NGOs and various foundations have been providing crucial support to advance the Institute’s mission. Over the years, growth of the endowments through donations and charitable giving has enabled the Institute to extend fellowships and scholarships to students, build academic excellence, initiate new programmes and research efforts, and support a range of important patient needs.

Some of the vital associations of NIMHANS include those with the TVS Motor Company and Sundaram Clayton Ltd., Infosys Foundation, White Swan Foundation and Dr. Ramachandra N. Moorthy Foundation.

Infosys Foundation donated a seven-seater multi-utility vehicle (Bolero) to NIMHANS for use by the Centre for Public Health. Mrs. Sudha Murthy, Chairman, Infosys Foundation handed over the keys of the new vehicle to the Director, NIMHANS on 28 August 2014.
